  • Commencement Salary: $87,955 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)


About the Role 

Reporting to the Manager: Campus Central: Campus Central & Research Student Service, you will assist in training and informing student administration staff across the University to achieve effective and consistent application of student administration processes. You will actively assist in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data held within the University’s student system.

Core Responsibilities 

  • Contribute to the overall coordination of Campus Central operations including student system requirements, local and University wide processes, timelines, support and service arrangements, documentation and resources
  • Facilitate an understanding across the University of student administration services and liaise with other areas providing student administration services to develop consistent practices
  • Liaise with Campus Central Team Leaders to identify, advise and implement best practice within Campus Central for the delivery and management of student administration and services
  • Evaluate and review student administration operations to identify service improvements and developments to support in person, email and phone service delivery alongside student self-management tools, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction are delivered
  • Responsible the preparation, campaign management, and delivery of student communications, ensuring effective and engaging interactions with students
  • Develop and contribute to the functional specifications for any required modifications to either the system or associated interfaces
  • Create and execute outbound call campaigns, including the management of calling data to enhance student engagement and support
  • Ensure software and interface releases and upgrades are tested and implemented efficiently and changes clearly communicated to end users

Essential Skills and Experience 
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent skills and knowledge at an appropriate level
  • Demonstrated commitment to the further development and enhancement of knowledge and skills through active membership of relevant professional associations and other means, i.e. ATEM
  • Demonstrated commitment to a customer service culture and to working collaboratively in a team-based work environment
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and negotiation skills, including the ability to work with technical, academic and administrative staff at all levels of the organisation
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills including experience in developing and providing training
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills, including the ability to be innovative and creative in providing advice and generating solutions
  • High level organisational and administrative skills, with experience in project management
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex information systems and processes using highly developed analytical and information management skills, a high degree of computer literacy and the ability to troubleshoot system related problems using available tools such as database reporting tools and Microsoft software applications
