About the Role
Join a dynamic team and gain unparalleled exposure to many aspects of Faculty operations. You'll play a critical role in translating strategy into measurable and reportable metrics and assist in achieving operational excellence. This diverse position offers the chance to curate valuable insights by analysing, interpreting, and reporting on performance across various areas. Your comprehensive analyses, encompassing teaching, research, workforce, space and finance, will help shape the Faculty's future. You'll be instrumental in developing measurable benchmarks and actively contributing to performance monitoring and reporting systems, ultimately supporting both short- and long-term strategic goals.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Proactively driving performance monitoring and reporting by translating the Faculty's business plans and strategic initiatives into measurable outcomes and qualitative benchmarks, ensuring alignment with departmental and Faculty-wide goals.
- Working collaboratively to forge strong stakeholder relationships by actively engaging with report consumers to understand their needs, and working alongside data owners to ensure reporting feasibility, delivering highly relevant reports and insights.
- Developing and maintaining performance tracking frameworks that integrate KPIs from the Faculty's strategy and business plans, enabling the active monitoring and reporting of progress for the Director of Strategy, Planning and Resources, and the Faculty's leadership team.

You also have:
- A relevant higher education qualification, coupled with demonstrably relevant experience gained in a comparable role within a large and multifaceted organisation.
- An eye for business strategy, complemented by a data-driven approach. This translates into your ability to dissect complex situations, translate data into actionable insights, and consistently make decisions that propel the organisation forward.
- The ability to conceptualise and exercise sound judgment. Translate abstract ideas into practical methodologies and actions that directly align with organisational goals and enhance operational effectiveness.

This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
