Salary package: $109,945 - $117,567 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Term: 1 x Full-time, Continuing (contingent funded) (up to 30 months)

Crawford School of Public Policy is a School within CAP and is Australia’s premier public policy school, with recognised world-class expertise and experience in economics, political science, environmental management and development, and on key Asia-Pacific countries, especially China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam and Indonesia, as well as Australia.

The Pacific Security College is funded by the Australian Government and sits within the Crawford School of Public Policy, College of Asia and the Pacific. The PSC works with Pacific Island countries to build the capacity of officials and deal with a broad range of security challenges through executive and professional development courses, policy workshops, technical assistance and research. 

The Opportunity
The Operations Manager will work to the Business Manager and will work closely with the Program Manager for Stakeholder Engagement and Education.  The position will support the delivery of PSCs work across all aspects of the program.  It will contribute to budget management, contract management, reporting to DFAT, human resources, as well as the day to day general administration of the College.  

Some travel may be required as part of this position.

A full-time, continuing opportunity with the School of Culture, History and Language may be available to merit listed candidates from this recruitment process.

Our Ideal Candidate
To be successful in this role, you need to have a broad skillset that includes financial management, administration and contract management.  It is essential that you are able to collaborate and work as part a team.  Qualifications or demonstrated experience in Management or accounting will be highly regarded.  Prior experience working in the university setting is highly regarded but not essential.
