I'm from a single-income family, and having a scholarship helped relieve some of the financial pressure as I started university. It also gives me the motivation and confidence to strive for excellence, as I know I have the support of others. The opportunity to follow one's dream is not one I take lightly, and I am fortunate to have a scholarship that is helping make my dream a reality.

Am I eligible?
You must be one of the following:

• An Australian citizen
• A New Zealand citizen
• Australian permanent resident
• Australian humanitarian visa holder

You must meet the following criteria:

• Current student enrolled in an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Engineering or Faculty of Information Technology at a Monash campus in Australia.
• A continuing student enrolled in their final year.
• From one or more of Monash University's defined educational disadvantage categories.
• WAM 70+

Benefits

• $8,000 on-off payment.

Number offered

• 12 scholarships available.

Selection criteria

• Awarded based on need.
• Preference will be given to female students.

To retain this scholarship:

• You must maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60 each semester.

• Current Monash students, apply directly to Monash.
• This scholarship cannot be deferred.
