I'm from a single-income family, and having a scholarship helped relieve some of the financial pressure as I started university. It also gives me the motivation and confidence to strive for excellence, as I know I have the support of others. The opportunity to follow one's dream is not one I take lightly, and I am fortunate to have a scholarship that is helping make my dream a reality.
Am I eligible?
You must be one of the following:
- An Australian citizen
- A New Zealand citizen
- Australian permanent resident
- Australian humanitarian visa holder
You must meet the following criteria:
- Current student enrolled in an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Engineering or Faculty of Information Technology at a Monash campus in Australia.
- A continuing student enrolled in their final year.
- From one or more of Monash University's defined educational disadvantage categories.
- WAM 70+
Benefits
- $8,000 on-off payment.

- 12 scholarships available.
Selection criteria
- Awarded based on need.
- Preference will be given to female students.
To retain this scholarship:
- You must maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60 each semester.

- This scholarship cannot be deferred.
