Are you from a regional or remote area of Australia? If you are planning to relocate from your home to move closer to a Monash campus, you may be eligible for a Monash Relocation Grant. Recipients will receive $6000 to assist with moving costs.

Rafi Haddad: Getting help with accommodation
Moving closer to campus has decreased my travel time and provided me with more time and energy to dedicate towards my studies.
Am I eligible?
You must be one of the following:
- An Australian citizen
- A New Zealand citizen
- Australian permanent resident
- Australian humanitarian visa holder
You must meet the following criteria:
- Commencing student undertaking an undergraduate degree at a Monash campus in Australia
- Be an Indigenous Australian and be relocating from a regional, remote or interstate location to be close to a Monash campus OR
- Be a domestic student with a low income and be relocating from a regional or remote area to be close to a Monash campus.
Benefits
$6000 for one year only to assist with relocation costs

Selection criteria
- Based on need.
- Consideration will be given to other forms of disadvantage such as difficult circumstances, recent refugee, disability or medical condition, or attended an under-represented school.
- Preference will be given to Year 12 school leavers.
How to apply
- VTAC applicants - If you think you might be eligible for an equity scholarship, ensure that you apply for the Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS) through VTAC between Monday 31 July (9am) and Friday 6 October (5pm) to be automatically considered
- This scholarship can be deferred.
