About the team
The Office of Research at the University of Western Australia provides professional support services to facilitate research excellence and knowledge transfer. The Research Infrastructure and Partnerships team within the Research Enterprise office is dedicated to responding to strategic research opportunities and driving the University’s research strategy.

Direct Reports: Senior Adviser (Research Infrastructure & Partnerships), Support Officer (Research Infrastructure & Partnerships)
About the opportunity
As the Manager (Research Infrastructure & Partnerships), you will lead a team responsible for developing cross-disciplinary, multi-partner opportunities to fund and utilise world class Research Infrastructure at UWA. You will provide strategic planning and direction, negotiate partnership agreements and ensure the efficient functioning of the Research Infrastructure Centres.
About you
You will have a relevant tertiary qualification in a STEM discipline, extensive management experience in research environments, and proven ability to provide advice at all levels. Experience with industry or government bodies, demonstrated leadership skills, expertise in research funding and partnership agreements and comprehensive knowledge of higher education policies are essential.
