The ANU is looking for an outstanding and experienced subject matter expert to lead and work in partnership with senior leaders, managers, and College/Portfolio HR practitioners to design and implement high quality strategic diversity, equity & inclusion solutions and provide practice leadership to all areas across the University. This is a parental leave cover position, and the person in this position will lead new and existing initiatives to assist the University in promoting equality and inclusion in the workplace and ensuring governing HR diversity policies are aligned with best practice models. This role is a highly visible and critical role for the People & Culture team.

Position Overview

This role plays a key role in shaping a diverse and inclusive culture where all staff feel valued and respected and have equal opportunity to fulfil their potential.  

This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified person, looking for a chance to deliver impactful projects and policy. The role will plan, coordinate, and deliver a range of programs and resources to support diversity capability across the University.

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience and commitment to inclusion, with specialist knowledge of diversity and equity related employment matters. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, proven ability to use initiatives and engage with various stakeholders across all Portfolios and Colleges at ANU.
