(HEO8) $102,266 to $114,731 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.

The Manager, Advancement Operations is a member of the Advancement leadership team and will lead and manage the overall strategy for the Advancement Operations function including gift processing, optimising organizational processes to increase revenue and oversight of systems for prospecting, research and pipeline development. The role will coordinate an efficient and transparent gifts management service within the University which meets the highest level of accountability in reporting on the management and investment of all philanthropic gifts to the University. The position will be an expert Raiser’s Edge and Peoplesoft user and will work closely with the Advancement Analytics team in Planning & Analytics on data requests, analytics and reporting metrics.

To be successful you will need:

  • Demonstrated high-level experience in fundraising environment, preferably in the higher education sector
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, initiative, diplomacy, tact and discretion as well as proven experience handling sensitive and personal information in a confidential and appropriate manner
  • Proactively and quickly making sense of complex information; responding effectively to difficult and ambiguous situations
  • Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to produce clear and succinct documents, briefs, proposals with high attention to detail
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills including the ability to build, lead motivate and manage a high-performance team.
