About the role

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced academic to join our team as a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Exercise Physiology and Sports Science. This area has achieved significant growth in recent years offering students exciting programs of study including two Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) accredited degrees. The successful applicant will have teaching and research strengths in exercise physiology and sport science. We are looking for staff who will take a key role in the continuing design and development of the curricula for the Exercise and Sport Science degrees and contribute to the school's research program. The successful candidate will have a track record in teaching and education development and be committed to the delivery of high-quality outcomes for UNE students.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have a completed, or nearing completion of a doctoral qualification in Exercise and Sport Science or relevant field and demonstrated school teaching experience. You will have a developing research contribution to the field, and skills in mentoring and supporting higher degree research candidates. You will have excellent interpersonal, written and oral skills, along with excellent organizational skills.
