About the role:

The Bachelor of Occupational therapy sits within the the National School of Allied Health at ACU Canberra. We are currently seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Occupational Therapy / Professional Placement Coordinator who will play a key role in providing leadership and local oversight to the development, implementation and continuous quality improvement of the professional practice education curricular within the Occupational Therapy undergraduate degree on the Canberra Campus.

As a Lecturer in Occupational Therapy (Level B), you will be expected to make significant contributions to the development and implementation of the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at Australian Catholic University by providing technical, clinical, teaching and research. In consultation with the Assistant Deputy Head of School, Head of Discipline and Course Coordinators of Occupational Therapy and other staff, you will ensure that the implementation of the Occupational Therapy course is comprehensively managed. A crucial aspect of your role will include making an important contribution to the establishment of the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at the Canberra campus.

  • Total remuneration valued to $134,709 - $158,885 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $113,831 - $134,397 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level B), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
