Level B – $114,645 - $136,136 p.a. pro rata plus 17% super

About the Role
The role involves coordinating and delivering paediatric nursing subjects for the Graduate Certificate at the University of Melbourne. The incumbent will contribute significantly to online curriculum development, collaborating with various stakeholders, and applying contemporary pedagogical insights to enhance nursing education.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate and deliver paediatric nursing subjects and provide input into other subjects as required.
  • Make a significant contribution to the development of online curriculum.
  • Collaborate with Course Coordinator, Director of Teaching and Learning and Program Coordinator of Specialty nursing programs.
  • Identification of appropriate approaches to teaching through analysis of learning needs of students

Who We Are Looking For

You can demonstrate excellent problem-solving and organisational skills as well as a high level of interpersonal, written, and oral communication abilities. You will bring a capacity for negotiation, initiative, and innovation, fostering effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

You will also have:

  • Master’s level degree in Nursing or equivalent.
  • Current Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Specialty-level qualifications in paediatric intensive care nursing.
  • Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and subject coordination.

This position requires the incumbent to hold a current and valid Working with Children Check to ensure the University provides a safe environment for everyone.
