About the team

The Department of Accounting & Finance in the Business School offers undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses as well as research-based doctoral degrees. The students rank amongst the brightest in Australia, as measured by Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR). Academics in the Department deliver high quality teaching and conduct high quality research.

About the opportunity

You will be expected to contribute to research, teaching, and service within the School, University, and wider community. Expectations for your contribution align with those of Business School academic staff: https://www.uwa.edu.au/schools/business.

About you

To be considered for this opportunity, you demonstrate:

  • A PhD or equivalent in Finance or a related field.
  • A well-developed research interest in digital finance, including blockchain and cryptocurrency.
  • A clear research agenda and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Evidence of teaching excellence and experience.
  • A track record in maintaining academic standards and curriculum development.
  • A willingness to engage with the community and relevant industry bodies.
  • A commitment to equity and diversity principles.
