Learning Experiences Officer
- Employment Type: Full-Time (35-hour week)
- Duration: Fixed Term Role – 12 month contract
- Remuneration: From $106,351 (+ 17% superannuation and leave loading)
- Location: Kensington NSW (Hybrid Flexible Working)
Why your role matters
The Learning Experiences Officer supports access, equity and inclusion at UNSW by developing content for learning experiences as part of the educational outreach program for pre-tertiary students. The position will support the development and delivery of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion trainings and initiatives for current staff and students at UNSW. This role will work in collaboration with various members of the Division, particularly those within Learning Experiences, Students as Partners and Diversity and Inclusion.

About you
- A relevant tertiary qualification with substantial relevant experience and/or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of education, training and/or experience. (Qualifications and experience in Secondary Teaching is highly desirable).
- Extensive experience in the design and delivery of educational activities and learning experiences for pre-tertiary (high school) students.
- Experience delivering training and workshops relevant to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion within an education setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, partners and stakeholders both internal and external.
- Demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end project management, relationship management and delivery, including the capability to manage programs focused on specific outcomes that engage staff and students across diverse groups.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and the proven ability to facilitate group discussions and deliver presentations.
- Advanced level of computer literacy with excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent attention to detail, including time management and organisational skills, with a proven ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines and to work both autonomously and collaboratively across multi-function teams to deliver outcomes
- An interest in and passion for EDI initiatives and positive contribution to the broader Division and its strategic objectives.
