About You 
A dynamic and energetic leader, you will work closely with RMIT’s Education, Innovation and Quality staff and the Data and Analytics unit - designing, delivering and finding the story for actionable education insights!  


The Lead, Education Data and Insights role oversees a team that seeks to understand student feedback, learning outcomes, performance analytics, support mechanisms, and beyond! A critical role that supports educational innovation, steering operational and technical projects and improving the student and staff experience at RMIT. 


Collaborating with senior members of the Education portfolio to use data to measure, understand and enhance the quality of student experience. Delivering objectives aligned to the Education plan, and RMIT"s Knowledge with Action Strategy. You will have strong analytical, communication and leadership skills and work with stakeholders across the university to deliver data driven, actionable insights. 


 


To be successful in this position, you’ll have as a minimum:  


  • Proven ability to drive a range of complex reporting deliverables and initiatives aligned to strategy, managing and prioritising competing workflows and deadlines. 

  • Robust analytical skills and the ability to synthesize and communicate large quantities of data to enable decision making in a complex and fast-paced environment. 

  • Demonstrated excellence in engaging with trends and innovative practice, facilitating ideation, concept development and execution strategies for complex innovation and transformation.  

  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to forge collaborative relationships across organisational boundaries and to connect and work with diverse set of stakeholders for productive outcomes.

The Centre for Education Innovation and Quality (CEIQ) sits within the Education Portfolio under the direction of the Associate Deputy Vice Chancellor Education, Learning, Teaching and Quality. CEIQ supports the attainment of academic standards across RMIT University. CEIQ and its operations drive consistency in design and direction across RMIT University to support academic quality and continuous improvement of all accredited programs and products, enhancing our student and staff experience.
