  • Full time, Continuing position with hybrid working arrangements

  • 23,000 Euros per annum

As Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of accounting and bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and receivables, bank reconciliations, supplier management and general ledger account reconciliations. You will work alongside more senior members of the team during month end closing period, calculating accruals, performing month end adjustments, preparing financial reports, applying IFRS accounting principles and with exposure to both local and Australian GAAP. You will participate in tax calculations and statutory compliance obligations, as well as monitoring and budgeting for our European-funded project portfolio.

The right candidate will have the potential and opportunity to progress within the team, steadily taking on more responsibility.

To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in finance or accounting positions

  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills

  • Excellent written and oral English skills

  • Excellent organisational skills, with attention to detail

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

  • Eligible to work in Spain
