About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our La Trobe International (LTI) team. In this position, you will provide advice and support to our international students at all stages of their academic and Australian journey. This includes the end to end lifecycle of an international student encompassing the preparation and departure to Australia, on study support, right through to their completion at La Trobe University and their subsequent return home. 

In this position you will provide one on one student support and case management as well as lead one of four different program portfolios. International student services programs contribute to enhancing the overall international student experience, and educating students and staff on areas such as legislation, policy and procedures relating to international students. Program delivery creates new initiatives that will contribute to the overall international student experience.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role you will have completed a degree with experience in student support services. You will have demonstrated cultural sensitivity and cross-cultural communication skills as well as high level interpersonal skills and be able to manage high level cases to a successful conclusion.

You will have experience with presentations and a demonstrated ability to tailor your presentation to diverse audiences. And importantly, you have strong project management skills and ability to work well in a dynamic team environment.
