• Base salary range: $112,114 – $122,544 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

About the team
Building and growing its research capability is a strategic priority of the University providing a vital contribution to both the University and WA community. Key to this endeavour are partnerships with industry and government that enhance the financial position, impact and reputation of UWA and the research reputation of WA. The Office of Industry and Commercial Development is responsible for the commercialisation goals at UWA across a wide array of portfolios including engineering, agriculture, health, defence, space, oceans, data, energy and resources. Key to commercialisation success are the partnerships with industry and government.

Reports to: Business Development Manager, Industry Engagement.

About the opportunity
As the Industry Engagement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in fostering industry and researcher engagement. Under broad direction, you will develop and deliver strategic events and communication initiatives that boost awareness of industry research expertise at UWA.

About you
You will possess a relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency, along with extensive experience in independently managing events from planning to execution at an appropriate level. You have proven experience in developing impactful internal and external communications and excel in verbal and written communication and negotiation skills, enabling you to effectively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
