Salary package: $89,134 - $102,600 per annum plus 17% superannuation

The Position
The Human Resources Adviser works within the Employee Relations team providing expert advice and support to management  on all aspects of employee relations, including specialist workplace relations and policy advice, developing strong understanding of the ANU Enterprise Agreement. The position provides high-level advice to a wide variety of clients across the University in relation to performance management, grievances, change management and complex people management issues. The position will liaise with external stakeholders, including unions, other universities, professional bodies and external service providers.

The Person
We are looking for someone with a high-level of knowledge and understanding of contemporary Human Resources issues, someone who can think big picture and operationalise key initiatives to facilitate a positive campus culture. An understanding of the ins and outs of the higher education sector would be highly desirable but not required. You will have excellent communication and networking skills with the ability and awareness to build and maintain close relationships with people from diverse backgrounds. 
You will have proven experience as a HR business partner, employee relations adviser, with the willingness to look for solutions, and the ability to work with a fair degree of autonomy. 
The Division
The People & Culture Division delivers on whole of University strategic priorities relating to planning, talent and capability, culture, compliance, safety, risk, and wellbeing. People & Culture work closely with the Division of Shared Services in the delivery of human resources operations, including informing policy, procedure, and best practice across the University community.
