The Opportunity

The Monash Business School prides itself on its strategic research and development. Join our prestigious Research Services portfolio as a Graduate Research Coordinator for 12 months to enhance our student experience. 

Reporting to the Graduate Research Manager, the focus of this role will be on the end-to-end graduate student management processes, particularly within the Admissions and Scholarships portfolio. As part of a dedicated team, you will also contribute to the coordination of events for graduate research stakeholders, and to a range of projects as we continuously improve our service offering.

As the successful candidate, you will have excellent analytical and communication skills to provide sound and tailored advice to future and current graduate research students, and to academic staff on graduate research policy, rules and requirements.

Your problem-solving skills and attention to detail will be integral to day-to-day workflows, as well as contributing to longer-horizon projects and business process improvement. Your strong interpersonal skills will be essential for providing supportive and empathetic pastoral care to graduate research students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
