In this role you will be responsible for the design, development, planning and implementation of a range of targeted programs and projects to future students, with a focus on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.  You will also work towards developing innovative approaches to facilitate Indigenous students’ transition to tertiary education. This will involve developing and strengthening relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and community organisations and providing advice and liaison to the CQUni Connect Program on matters relating to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. 


Position Requirements

 

  • Demonstrated experience working with school-aged students and ability to liaise with people from all backgrounds. 
  • Thorough knowledge and demonstrated experience collaborating with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities. 
  • Experience in developing engagement strategies and plans, including reporting  
  • Outstanding oral, written and online communication skills. 
  • Demonstrated understanding and commitment to the principles of inclusion and social innovation.
