About the Role:
This role works within the Student Recruitment team who are responsible for building brand and reputation among prospective students and their influencers. Your day-to-day will be varied including the opportunity to account manage key relationships with secondary schools, deliver presentations and workshops to prospective students whilst supporting University wide initiatives to improve enrolments. Use your creativity to improve on our yearly calendar of engagement activities or develop new initiatives under the direction of the Associate Director of Student Recruitment with a focus on informing and engaging potential TAFE and Pathways Students.
This is a full time position at a HEP 6 classification annual salary range, $85,667- $92,728 working 36.75 hours per week over a continuing contract period.
Duties:
Some of the duties you may perform are:
- Provide accurate and consistent advice on VU courses and pathway options to current and prospective VU students and showcase the benefits of studying at Victoria University.
- Deliver and participate in Future student activities and key events that focus on TAFE promotion and current VU TAFE Students.
- In collaboration with Colleges, Admissions and Pathways team, develop initiatives, programs and events aimed to increase and improve the number of applications and enrolments from prospective students and conversions
- Contribute to a calendar of Future student activities events and activities in conjunction with university Colleges and other departments
- Represent the University and provide comprehensive course and admission information at key internal and/or external events and activities that cover TAFE + pathways.
- Develop and implement reporting mechanisms/tools that track the number of pathways related enrolments, application, or conversion resulting from Future student events and activities and present information on the findings including recommendations.
- Deliver responsive and high-quality customer service to all internal and external stakeholder across all mediums such as online, phone and in person.
About You:
You are a motivated and authentic team member who can display both creative thinking and strong organisational skills with a flair for communication. You are excited about the opportunity of delivering personalised advice to prospective students from diverse backgrounds and committed to high quality customer service. You are curious to explore and test ways to better engage with prospective students and previous experience in sales, marketing, account management of event management would all be beneficial, along with a desire to expand your skillset. A willingness to collaborate, problem solve and a commitment to deliver tangible results are highly valued as would an understanding of the TAFE and Higher Education sector.
