The Facilities Management Directorate is responsible for the planning and management of the CQUniversity Estate. We are seeking a motivated all-rounder to provide effective support to the grounds and maintenance teams and perform supervised duties related to these functions.
Our ideal candidate will have experience performing tradesman assistance tasks and possess the ability to perform a broad range of general services including coordinating office moves, furniture relocations, cleaning fleet vehicles, physical set up of special events/functions and grounds maintenance tasks. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working as a high-involvement team member collaborating and cooperating with other departments to achieve positive business outcomes.

Position Requirements
Required:
- Ability to perform a broad range of general services including coordinating office moves, furniture relocations, physical set up of events or functions and basic grounds maintenance.
- Ability to perform a wide range of tradesman assistance tasks under direction from a qualified tradesman, and basic maintenance and servicing to tools and equipment such as mowers, whipper snippers and irrigation repairs.
- Experience in the maintenance of buildings and fixtures and some construction experience.
- Knowledge of Workplace, Health and Safety requirements and demonstrated ability to work in compliance with WH&S provisions.
- Completion of Year 12 with relevant work experience; or equivalent relevant experience or combination of relevant experience and education/training.
- Open Manual Driver Licence
Desirable:
- Forklift Licence and Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
