    • Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, 3 days per week (and 2 days per week from home) 


     


    About You 
    As the Executive Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing high quality project support, administrative support and some secretarial functions (e.g. diary management) to designated members of the School Executive including the Dean. You will contribute to the execution of School and College-based projects that support the School to meet its strategic and operational plans, with projects spanning areas of Research, Learning and Teaching and Operations.  


     


    You will also manage whole School events, such as general School meetings and School planning days, and will support the communications requirements of the School, such as knowledge management (including intranet maintenance) and newsletter development. 


     


    To be successful in this position, you will have as a minimum 


    • Extensive experience in providing high-level support at Executive level, preferably within a corporate setting. 


    • Demonstrated experience in supporting project delivery in a complex organisation, covering project administration, communications, action management, report development, etc. 


    • Excellent communication skills and demonstrated experience in developing presentations, reports and speaking and briefing notes to a high standard. 


    • Highly developed organisational, analytical and interpersonal skills with evidence of managing complex issues. 


    • Proven ability to work with minimal guidance, in a collaborative team environment and with a strong understanding of matrix structures. 


    • Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and work in a pressured environment requiring flexibility and collaborative decision making to achieve deadlines.

    As one of the largest Business Schools in the Asia Pacific region, the College of Business and Law is comprised of five schools – four in Melbourne and one in Vietnam - delivering a broad range of programs in Business, ranging from Certificates up to PHD levels.
