  • Salary Level HEW 6 ($85,948 - $93,035 p.a.) + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements

  • Based at the Melbourne CBD campus

About You
As the Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality project support, administrative support and secretarial functions (e.g. diary and email management) to the ADVCA, ADVCS&I and designated senior members of the team, as requested by the ADVCA or General Manager College Operations. You will contribute to the execution of STEM-based projects that support the College to meet its strategic and operational plan.

Collaborating closely with the College Operations professional services teams, you will seek guidance and direction in terms of approach, and manage events for the College as well as meetings and planning days. In addition, you will support the communications requirements of the STEM Executive Portfolio, such as knowledge management (including intranet maintenance) and newsletter development.

To be successful in this position, you’ll meet the following Key Selection Criteria:

  • Senior administrative/operations/project support experience with proactive and autonomous work capabilities.

  • Strong organisational, planning, and project coordination skills, adept at setting priorities and meeting deadlines.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills suitable for a multicultural environment.

  • Independent work capacity, proactive initiative, and sound judgment.

  • Effective relationship-building skills, particularly in liaising with diverse national and international stakeholders on complex, sensitive, and confidential matters.

  • Proficiency in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and drafting high-quality correspondence.

  • Meticulous attention to detail across all tasks.

  • High computer literacy encompassing word processing, presentation software, email, internet, electronic document management databases, and file system management (including TRIM).

  • Possession of a tertiary qualification with relevant experience or an equivalent blend of education/training and extensive practical experience.
