The Opportunity

The Faculty of IT are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to provide a wide range of high-level secretarial, administrative and office management services to support the three busy Heads of Department. 

A highly organised administrator with strong communication skills, you will undertake key support functions to ensure the smooth and professional operation of the office including: 

  • Facilitating communication and workflow
  • Scheduling meetings and diary management
  • Event coordination
  • Business travel arrangements 
  • Providing secretarial support for committees and working groups
  • Managing and screening of telephone calls and emails
  • Providing assistance in drafting and editing correspondence, presentations and reports
  • Liaising with university staff and external parties

As the Executive Assistant, you will operate with excellence in process and judgement to provide sound and timely advice and executive support to clients, staff and other stakeholders.
