About the role:

Contributing directly to the university's People and Capability function, the Executive Assistant/Officer will provide confidential and time sensitive administrative support to the Chief People Officer (CPO) and ensure the effective running of the Office of the CPO. In this highly varied role, you will provide executive assistant support to the CPO; prepare, edit and send communications and correspondence, support the CPO in monitoring and managing the annual budget and arrange meetings, conferences and/or events.

You will also play an important part in contributing to the professionalism and brand of the People and Capability Directorate in the delivery of services for and on behalf of the CPO and in the engagement with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you'll be an experienced professional in providing high level administrative support to senior management in a complex/national organisation, with skill in listening and communicating with purpose and impact by providing accurate, timely and clear information, building key relationships and responding appropriately to others.

  • Total remuneration valued to $106,366 - $114,254 (pro rata) pa, including salary component $89,881 - $96,546 (pro rata) pa (HEW 6), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
  • 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
  • Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
