About This Opportunity 

The Evaluations Support Officer role is an exciting opportunity within SSET (Student Surveys and Evaluations Team) during a 10-week peak period from April 22, 2024, to June 30, 2024.

The SSET oversees the administration and analysis of student surveys, including Student Evaluation of Course and Teacher (SECaT) and Student Evaluation of Tutor (SETutor).

Key responsibilities will include: 

  • Serve as the primary contact for inquiries regarding SSET policy and production and system issues affecting the survey portal's user experience.

  • Contribute to the enhancement of web pages, communications, and system documentation, ensuring up-to-date and accurate information.

  • Provide feedback for service improvement initiatives and cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders.

  • Effectively prioritize tasks and manage time to meet tight deadlines.

  • Collaborate with other ITaLI teams and assist in responding to inquiries as necessary.

  • Fulfill other reasonable duties as assigned by the supervisor.


About You  

Essential

  • Demonstrated experience in Microsoft 365 with advanced skills in Excel and Outlook.

  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and provide advice on policy, procedures, and guidelines.

  • Strong clients focus with excellent time management, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills and good attention to detail.

  • Proven ability to handle confidential data and information.

Desirable

  • Functional knowledge of statistics and/or Business Objects.

You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment and may be required to complete background checks including, criminal history and education checks.
