We are seeking a highly skilled and practical Enterprise Architecture (EA) Specialist to join our dynamic team. The EA Specialist will be responsible for building and maintaining a holistic view of the university's business capabilities in context of determining future state digital systems and enabling technologies. They will play a pivotal role in driving the development of integrated strategies (blueprints) to achieve desired business outcomes. The successful candidate will ensure that information systems and technologies are future-looking, cost-effective, and strategically aligned. They will also define architectural standards and provide direction for the resolution of complex enterprise architecture issues across the University. More specifically you will:
- Build and maintain Architecture Blueprints aligned with the university's business strategy.
- Plan and manage the implementation of the enterprise architecture (EA) roadmap based on business objectives and Digital strategies.
- Review and evaluate digital technology options against the EA framework and other strategies to maximize value creation while reducing cost and risk.
- Lead the development of structures, tools, and processes to manage the university's application and technology portfolios, including developing and applying new principles and technologies.
- Define architectural standards and guardrails that provide guidance for the resolution of complex enterprise architecture issues across the University.
- Review, maintain and participate in the EA Governance.
- Analyse and determine the financial impact of solutions.
- Investigate opportunities to leverage emerging technologies to address current and future needs.
This permanent position is full time a HEW 8 Higher Education Level and will be located at the Callaghan Campus (Awabakal and Worimi land).
