Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Educator (Communication) to join QUT College, Education Portfolio, Academic Division.

The University Entry Programs Educator will be responsible for the delivery and development of teaching and learning activities (including lectures, tutorials and workshops) across Foundation, Diploma and other University Entry Programs

What you need to succeed

  • Education, qualifications and/or professional experience equivalent to a postgraduate degree in a relevant subject area with at least two years full time equivalent teaching experience. 
  • Demonstrated commitment to high-quality teaching including the ability to adapt approaches to the needs of international and domestic students.
  • Evidence of ability to design assessment tasks, mark and provide feedback to students to improve learning outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop new and existing units including accompanying learning resources.
  • Demonstrated ability to design teaching activities which incorporate the use of learning technologies.
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills including demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and to work collaboratively with colleagues.
