About the position

We recognize there is more than one way to get into university, and the Domestic Student Recruitment Team is dedicated to ensuring that prospective students can find the best pathway to help them reach their study goals, whether they are looking for a complete career change, studying at TAFE and looking to transition to the next level or wanting to return to study after some time out.

This role is responsible for implementing student recruitment activity that aligns with a diverse range of prospective students and assisting them to transition to University study with a focus on building relationships with local TAFE, RTO's and industry partners.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, you will have;

  • An undergraduate degree in any area relevant to the position with at least 4 years subsequent experience; or extensive experience and management expertise; or an equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, especially the capacity to work collaboratively and cooperatively in small teams.
  • Demonstrated organisation and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage several different projects concurrently.
  • Demonstrated high level of self-motivation and personal management skills.
  • Proven ability to focus on objectives rather than procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders to achieve stated outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience in organizing student related activities/events.
  • Experience in event coordination, including planning, promotion, and implementation.
