As a Digital Content Editor, you will:

  • Lead work with key stakeholders in the development of engaging, insightful and accurate content for the student website, ensuring all content is accessible, on-brand and consistent.
  • Coordinate an annual audit and refresh existing student website content to ensure alignment to content standards
  • Ensure content is relevant, and written with quality, compliance, user experience, multi-media, design, SEO/SEM, and personalisation in mind.
  • Collaborate within the web team to leverage our established editorial governance framework, ensuring the effective management and publication of content. This includes overseeing the CMS workflow processes encompassing content requests, creation, editing, publication, personalisation, and archiving.
  • Implement best practice user experience and digital information architecture principles to undertake user experience testing to ensure content is presented in an engaging and contextual manner to all users across all devices.

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • A tertiary degree with subsequent relevant work experience or a combination of extensive experience in communications, digital editing and/or marketing
  • Strong and proven skills and experience in copywriting, designing, developing, editing and content
  • Experience in graphic design and photo editing
  • Demonstrated experience in undertaking multiple activities simultaneously to tight deadlines
  • Sound understanding of web content including accessibility, usability, information architecture and writing for the web.
