Deadline: 14 Apr 2024

About the role

The Course Advisory Officer works as a part of a team to deliver a course advising function to improve retention and course completion outcomes for students. Course Advisory Officers work with students through an evidence-based model, assisting them to articulate their academic and career goals, identify challenges to achieving those goals, and collaborate on strategies to address these challenges. Course Advisory Officers develop a deep understanding of UNE's course and unit offerings, policies and procedures, and services. The team also develops resources to assist students with course navigation. Contact with students occurs via email, phone, online meetings and face-to-face. The role is part of a project requiring rapid deployment, so candidates needing minimal training are preferable.
