About the Role
You will support the development and implementation of communications and stakeholder engagement to achieve the strategic objectives of the Corporate Finance, Property and Sustainability (CFPS) team in the Chief Operating Officer Portfolio.

Your responsibilities will include: 


  • Coordinate the development and delivery of communications plans and best practice communication and engagement support to CFPS and internal partner workstream activity.  

  • Support the implementation of effective communications and stakeholder engagement activities to meet the strategic objectives and priorities of the CFPS team and core projects.  

  • Support stakeholder engagement activity by producing effective targeted communications presentation materials.   


Who we are looking for
We are searching for a highly skilled Communications Officer with strong written, organisational and time management skills. You will be able to assist in the translation of complex projects into clear communication strategies, manage stakeholders, and excel in written, oral, and digital communication.

You will also:

  • Have experience within relevant communications or stakeholder engagement field and tertiary qualification in communications, public relations, finance, business, or a related discipline
  • Be committed to contributing to an open, friendly and inclusive culture
  • Have a knowledge of project and property-based communication and engagement approaches is desirable. 
  • Have experience with design and a deep understanding of university priorities are a plus.

This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
