The Student Health Advisory Committee

The Student Health Advisory Committee (SHAC) allows UNSW students and staff to establish important two-way communication, working together to raise and solve current student health and wellbeing concerns. Committee members are visible and passionate advocates for the health of UNSW students.

The role of Chairperson is responsible for the administrative aspect of the SHAC and coordinating regular reports. They will work directly with UNSW Health Promotion Staff to drive the implementation of action plans and be responsible for the evaluating, reporting and co-ordination of student feedback. This role is significantly student facing - the Chairperson is expected to work closely with the student body to understand their needs, collate their feedback and report back to them about the actions of the SHAC.

The role is open to both current UNSW domestic and international students.

Please carefully read through the Duty statement including the responsibilities and selection criteria, before applying.

Please note that you must have working rights in Australia and have an Australian bank account. Overseas applications cannot be considered.
