About Information Technology:

Operating within the ACU's Corporate Services Portfolio, the Information Technology Directorate is a strategic partner in delivering technology enabled change and excellent IT services to support learning, teaching, research and business functions across ACU. The Information Technology Directorate is led by the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and two Associate Directors. The CIO is responsible for overall strategic planning and governance, while the Associate Directors are responsible for specific portfolios representing the core functions of the Information Technology Directorate.

About the Application and Integration Services:

Application and Integration Services is responsible for implementing, integrating, supporting and maintaining applications across the ACU platform and application suite and consults with the Digital Platform Services and Enterprise Information Security teams.

About the role:

As the Automation Developer you'll lead the design, build and management of automation and innovation solutions across ACU, using emerging technologies in line with industry best practice and frameworks. Working with the Applications and Integration Team and a range of business stakeholders and vendors, you will collaborate to identify opportunities and deliver improvements in the student and staff experience through high quality automation and other innovation initiatives in line with the university's priorities.

Key to your success will be in your ability to demonstrate extensive experience (senior or lead) with Automation Stacks, UIPath (highly desirable), Power Platform, Power Apps and Power Automate. Demonstrated experience maintaining the Power Platform CoE toolkit and CI/CD build automation and monitoring tools (e.g. Git, Azure DevOps, Dataverse, New Relic, Jira and Confluence) and development experience with C#, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, React, Node, SQL, ASP .NET and enterprise integration patterns.

  • Total remuneration valued to $130,436 - $145,816 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $110,220 - $123,227 (pro rata) pa (HEW 8), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
  • 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
  • Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
