An exciting opportunity has become available for an Associate Lecturer - Nursing to join CQUniversity's School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Sciences at either the Bundaberg or Rockhampton campuses.

Position Requirements

 

  • Completed a bachelor Degree in the relevant discipline with industry or professional experience. 
  • Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching/Education or equivalent (or willingness to obtain).
  • Willingness to obtain, if required, a qualification in adult education in order to meet the minimum requirements of a Registered Training Organisation e.g. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver quality innovative courses and units using a range of learning and teaching styles including flexible learning and multi-campus delivery modes. 
  • Demonstrated ability to make a positive contribution to a team culture, through effective communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to teach and supervise undergraduate University students. 
  • Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) registration.
  • Capacity to conduct research and contribute to the scholarly output of the School (desirable). 
  • Experience in curriculum development (desirable).
