  • Remuneration: $116,370 to $127,294 pa (HEW7) (inclusive of $98,334 to $107,565 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)

  • Open to: Current staff members of QUT who have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of the fixed-term appointment. Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Alumni Communications Coordinator to join Alumni and Corporate Partnerships, Business Development Portfolio, Chancellery Division.

The Alumni Communications Coordinator drives the communications strategy for the QUT alumni program, and is responsible for creating, curating and publishing relevant, high-quality content for alumni-related publications, activities and events.

What you need to succeed

  • Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to the completion of a degree in communications, marketing, media, or a related discipline, in conjunction with at least four years relevant work experience.
  • Proven track record in identifying opportunities and effectively profiling activities, successes and/or events to multiple audiences through a wide range of platforms.
  • Highly developed communication skills including the ability to write effectively and persuasively for a wide range of audiences.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to work collegially and effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment as part of a high performing team and provide excellence in service provision.

  • Experience and/or understanding of alumni communications within a university.
  • Experience with Blackbaud CRM, Salesforce and SharePoint.
  • Experience using Adobe applications including Photoshop
