About You


The Agile Delivery Lead role is responsible for overseeing end to end delivery of a products in a Hybrid (Waterfall and Agile) environment that deliver to business outcomes.

The role will support the Program Management team in driving the alignment of the different streams of work, co-ordinate dependencies and adapt practices where needed.

This role sits within a broader Project Management practice, partnering with vendors and multiple internal teams, focused on co-ordination of activity to deliver value to the business.

To be successful in this position, you’ll have as a minimum:

  • Experience in managing application delivery project in an integrated landscape.
  • Demonstrated experience in an agile environment, ideally with responsibility for implementing agile practices.
  • Experience in producing and using agile metrics to drive delivery.
  • Experience in dependency management across multiple squads or delivery teams, as a Group Scrum Master or Project Manager.
  • Substantial experience engaging and managing external vendors to project delivery outcomes including management to time, quality and financial KPI’s.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and influencing skills, and the ability to adapt these to a diverse range of stakeholders and contexts with excellent attention to detail in written work.
  • Strong risk management both project risk and enterprise risk for assessing potential impacts to project performance and to the University. 
  • Proven confidence in verbal communication with the successful ability to deal with people at all levels of an organisation including liaising with a wide range of diverse IT & business stakeholders.
  • Experience liaising with senior stakeholders. Systematic approach to issue management that puts the stakeholder and University impacts front of mind. 
  • Proficient in Project Management and Agile tools, including MS Project, Jira and Confluence.
