About the Role:

This role will be managing in an effective and efficient manner a range of administrative tasks and functions within the ISILC portfolio and providing a high-quality service to all ISILC clients internally and externally.

Some of the duties to be performed include:

  • Provide high level support and assistance to the Executive Director, ISILC Leadership Team and Senior Administrative Officer
  • Assist as the first point of contact for all ISILC administrative related queries and research staff queries
  • Provide a range of high-level administrative support services such as word processing, drafting routine correspondence, taking minutes, organising meetings, following up on relevant action items, filing, preparing documents and other requisite paperwork for signing

This is a part-time position at a HEP 5 classification with salary range of $73,852 - $84,830 (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation, working 14.7 hours per week over a fixed term contract period until March 2026.

About You:

If you enjoy supporting students to succeed in their Post Graduate Research Studies, being part of a team and thrive at working in a busy fast paced environment, this is the position for you. 

You will have previous experience working in a busy, fast paced environment, possess a positive attitude and excellent communication skills. 

You will have a good understanding of the student’s life cycle and a demonstrated ability to resolve enquiries and complaints in a timely, effective and professional manner. Interacting with students from diverse backgrounds, you will play an important role as a positive influence on their perceptions of Post Graduate University life within ISILC.
