We are seeking an enthusiastic

Administrative Officer

to join our dynamic

Properties, Facilities & Development (PF&D) team

at

Curtin University.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our department, providing essential support across various administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executive Support: Provide comprehensive personal assistance to the Director, including managing complex diaries and schedules.
  • Project Administration: Assist with administrative tasks and contract management for planned and ongoing projects.
  • Event Coordination: Organise and coordinate internal events, including catering, venues, suppliers, and documentation.
  • Process Improvement: Establish and maintain efficient administrative processes and practices within the area.
  • Reception Duties: Provide backup support to reception as needed, ensuring smooth daily operations.  
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years + general administration experience in a busy office environment. Experience with contract administration is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong organisational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Attitude: A proactive, can-do attitude with a passion for delivering excellent customer service and supporting team members.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to pivot and adapt to changing needs and priorities.

To be successful in this position,

you will possess current work rights in Australia.

This position is

based at our Curtin Bentley campus

, candidates are expected to either be currently located in Perth, WA, or express a willingness to relocate.

Our dynamic Properties, Facilities and Development (PF&D) department is responsible for the planning and management that provides a vibrant and beneficial environment for study, work, and leisure. Whilst we look after programs and facilities that Curtin has in place, we are also undertaking some exciting infrastructure programs as part of our Greater Curtin Master Plan. This includes accommodation, academic buildings, research space, curated retail, a bus transport interchange and a range of public spaces and amenities.
