About the Role

In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the STEM College’s international education partnerships, including BITS RMIT Higher Education Academy in India, and other key partnerships in Hong Kong (SAR, China), Singapore, and Mainland China. Your responsibilities will include providing high-quality administrative services, building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders, contributing to the implementation of international education projects, and coordinating various international student experience events and activities. This role will also contribute to the implementation of international education projects, including activities to support the student experience from selection to completion. These education projects will aim to demonstrably improve the STEM international student experience (both onshore and offshore) and contribute to the College and University strategic directions.

About You

To be successful in this position, you’ll have:

  • The ability to work collegiately with academic and professional staff, students, and external clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

  • Demonstrated experience in the coordination of events, preferably related to student engagement and experience.

  • Demonstrated sensitivity to, and awareness of, cultural diversity of international students and staff support.

  • Sound knowledge and broad understanding of tertiary education sector with experience in supporting transnational education activities.

  • Demonstrated ability to use initiative and meet deadlines in a demanding high-volume environment with excellent attention to details and commitment to quality assurance.

  • High-level of proficiency in computer software packages, including the ability to produce professional presentation decks, and the ability to learn new technical skills.
