About the role

The Student Accessibility and Wellbeing Office (SAWO) creates an inclusive learning environment for UNE's diverse population of students by supporting students to overcome barriers to their university studies.

The Accessibility and Wellbeing Advisor provides specialised individual support to students who present with a protracted, high demand situation, health condition or disability to best accommodate the student needs and options for study.

The Accessibility and Wellbeing Advisor works collaboratively with a cross-disciplinary team including Counselling and Psychological Service (CAPS), the Student Grievance Unit (SGU) and the Student Engagement teams for the provision of student support.
