Overview:

  • 3x new Full-time, Continuing positions supporting the industry engagement and partnership activities for 3 of Schools within the STEM College
  • Salary HEW 10A ($139,262) + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements
  • Based at the City or Bundoora campus (dependent on the allocated School)

About the Roles

These are 3 exciting new positions developed within the STEM College’s Business Development and Partnerships portfolio, specifically aimed at growing the industry engagement and partnership activities for the Schools of Engineering, Science and Computing Technologies.

In the role, you will identify business development opportunities and deliver new strategic relationships that will grow our external engagement with industry. You will actively promote the capabilities, services and solutions that the School’s academic, research and educational expertise can provide to deliver commercially attractive partnerships.

To be successful in this position, we are looking for key soft and technical skills:

  • Demonstrated business development and stakeholder management experience with industry government, and universities, particularly major program and project attraction, will be highly valued.
  • Excellent communication, persuasion, and facilitation skills will be key in building strong relationships and driving successful outcomes.
  • The ability to thrive in dynamic, and complex environments, and you're ready to take on challenging and exciting opportunities.
  • With your relevant discipline and industry knowledge, you will have the unique ability to identify, understand, and position RMIT University as a partner and collaborator to industry.
