How to search for scholarships/research positions?

You can search for scholarships from the home page or in the “Keywords/Location” boxes at the top of any page.

To run a search, enter words into keywords box to describe what kind of scholarships or positions you are looking for. For example enter the fields of study (computer science, MBA), or name of the university such as Oxford University.

Optionally you can also enter a location in Location box (for example United States, United Kingdom, etc.) to narrow down your search. Then click the “Search scholarships” button or hit Enter on your keyboard.

From the result list, click on a scholarship title to view the scholarship details. If you’re interested, you can go to the source page via the link “view source” at the end of the scholarship details.

How to refine a search?

You can refine your search using the filters on the left hand side menu. The filters are:
- Date Listed: to view scholarships added in the last 24 hours, 3 days, 7 days, or 30 days
- Country: to view scholarships from a particular country, e.g. from Australia
- Category: to view by category such as only Scholarship or Research job
- Program: to view by program such as only PhD, Undergraduate, etc.
- Field: to view scholarships in particular fields such as Engineering, Biology, etc.

Click on “more >>” to view more in a filter.

Click on the arrow button in front of a filter to hide or show a filter.

How to send email to friends?

If you think a page is useful click on the “Email a friend” link to email the link to yourself or your friends.

How to get notified if a new scholarship is added? How to create a scholarship alert?

If you would like to receive notification via email whenever scholarships that match your criteria become available you can create a Scholarship Alert. A Scholarship Alert will email you on a daily, weekly, fortnightly, or monthly with list of 10 newest scholarships matched to your search.

To create a Scholarship Alert:

  1. Perform a regular search
  2. Click on “Save this search as an email alert” link at the top of the results page
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Enter the frequency you like to receive notifications (daily, weekly, fortnightly or monthly)
  5. Then click on “Save” button
